terms

Last updated: 30 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Bawbee app. Installing or using it means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the app.

Who you are dealing with

Bawbee is developed and operated by Jurij Kirm, 8232 Šentrupert, Slovenia.

WSSN d.o.o., Mekinje nad Stično 63, 1295 Ivančna Gorica, Slovenia, publishes and distributes the app on the App Store. It acts as publisher only. The app itself, the server behind it and everything you see inside it are built and run by the developer.

What Bawbee is

You answer questions about your budget, your supermarket, your household and what you eat. Bawbee writes a week of meals from that, prices them against the shop you picked, and builds a shopping list. Recipes, prices, nutrition figures and photos are generated by a language model.

It is a planning tool. It is not a nutritionist, a dietitian, a doctor or a supermarket, and it does not claim to be any of them.

Eligibility

Nothing in Bawbee is unsuitable for a child, which is why it carries a 4+ rating on the App Store. Buying is a separate question. A subscription is a contract, so whoever takes one out has to be old enough to enter into one where they live and entitled to use the Apple Account being charged. If you are under 18, ask a parent before you subscribe.

Accounts

There are none. Nothing to register, nothing to sign in to, and no password to lose. Your data lives on your device, which also means that losing the device or deleting the app loses the data with it. There is no backup on our side to restore from.

Subscriptions and payment

Bawbee requires a paid subscription to generate meal plans. Plans and prices are shown in the app before you buy, including the length of any free trial and the amount charged when it ends.

Payment is taken by Apple through your Apple Account, not by us. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Cancel in the Settings app under your name, then Subscriptions. If you cancel during a free trial before the last day, you are not charged.

Because Apple takes the payment, Apple handles refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases and have no access to your payment details.

Nothing here removes the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in, including any statutory right of withdrawal.

What the app produces, and its limits

Meal plans come from a language model, and models get things wrong. By using Bawbee you accept that its output may be inaccurate, incomplete or simply odd, and that you are the one deciding what to cook and eat.

Allergies and intolerances. Bawbee excludes the allergens you select and checks each plan before showing it. That check is thorough and it is not a guarantee. Always read the ingredients yourself, and check the label on anything you buy. If you have a severe allergy, do not rely on this app alone.

Prices. Every price is an estimate. Shops change prices, run promotions and charge differently between branches, and Bawbee sees none of that. Your receipt will not match the app, and the budget figure is a guide rather than a promise.

Nutrition. Calorie and macronutrient figures are estimates calculated from reference data, not measurements of the food in front of you. Do not use them for managing a medical condition.

Food safety. Cooking times, temperatures and storage advice are general. Follow the instructions on the food you bought, and cook meat, fish and eggs properly.

Bawbee gives no medical, dietary or nutritional advice. Speak to a qualified professional about anything affecting your health.

Using it properly

Use Bawbee for planning your own meals. Do not try to break into the app or its server, work around the subscription, take it apart to extract keys or prompts, hammer the service with automated requests, or resell what it produces as your own product. There is a fair usage limit on how much can be generated in a day and a month, and it exists so one account cannot run up the bill for everybody.

Ownership

The app, its design, its artwork and its code belong to the developer. The meal plans, recipes and shopping lists generated for you are yours to use, cook from and share as you like.

Supermarket names and logos shown in the app belong to those companies. They are used to identify the shop you are choosing, and their appearance does not mean any of them endorses or is connected with Bawbee.

Other companies

Bawbee depends on Apple, OpenAI, Cloudflare, RevenueCat and Sentry. Each has its own terms, and none of them is under our control. If one of them fails or changes what it offers, parts of Bawbee may stop working, and we are not liable for their acts or omissions.

No warranty

Bawbee is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, free of faults, or that any plan it writes will suit you. To the extent the law allows, all implied warranties are excluded.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither the developer nor the publisher is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before it arose.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by this section.

Ending it

You can stop using Bawbee at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the app. We may suspend access where these terms are broken, or where the app is being used in a way that threatens the service for other people.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top shows when they last did, and continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it. Where a change matters we will say so in the app.

Governing law

Slovenian law governs these terms, and the courts of Slovenia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
